Avinash Kumar, son of Mohan Singh, a resident of Kushdihara in Goh block, secured 190th rank in the Civil Services Examination of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). He was selected for the Indian Police Service (IPS). Avinash says that even in difficult situations, one should struggle to achieve the goal. Circumstances are always unfavorable for everyone. Success is achieved through hard work. Avinash is DFO in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. He was selected in UPSC in the first attempt in 2016. He did BTech and then MTech from IIT Roorkee from 2009 to 2014. Keep preparing for the job of DFO also and after trying twice, did not get success. Succeeded in fourth attempt. His wife Akanksha is a doctor.

According to the information, Avinash is currently working as District Forest Officer (DFO) in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. He was selected in IFS from UPSC in the first attempt in 2016. Since then he has been working in the same position. Told that he did BTech and then MTech from IIT Roorkee from 2009 to 2014. Despite getting the job of DFO, he kept preparing for UPSC and tried twice, but without success. Continued self-study and again he was successful in the fourth attempt. He has studied 10th from Gaya Nazarath Academy and 12th from Bal Vidya Niketan Jehanabad. His wife Akanksha is an MBBS doctor and is currently pursuing PG in Gyani at Kasturba Gandhi Medical College, Mangaluru. They got married in 2018.

Avinash's father Mohan Singh has retired as an assistant engineer from the PWD department in Hazaribagh in January 2020. Brother Neeraj Kumar runs a startup in Patna and is an engineer himself. Younger brother Ambuj Kumar is working as a manager in NTPC Hazaribagh. Parents had a dream that their son should take out UPSC. Brother always cooperated with both.
