District Immunization Officer Dr. Pramod Kumar Pandey inaugurated the five-day Pulse Polia Campaign on Sunday by giving food to the newborn children. Under the campaign, a target has been set to feed four lakh 35 thousand 607 children of the district. The DIO said that this campaign will continue in the district till September 30. In this, the members of A team will go door to door and give polio dose to the children. Mobile teams have been deployed to administer polio medicines at railway stations, bus stands and public places where people move. At the same time, the B team of Pulse Polio will search for such children, who have been deprived of the dose due to some reason. Civil Surgeon Dr. Yaduvansh Sharma informed that 1304 personnel will administer medicines door-to-door in the campaign. Where the squares and squares, 148 transit teams have been deployed to administer medicines at railway stations and bus stands and 35 mobile teams have been deployed to provide medicines by roaming inside the train. 477 supervisors have been deployed to ensure that there is no negligence in the campaign. The DIO said that all children up to five years of age in the district would be given polio drops for the next five days. Said that in order to make a polio free district, the residents of every district must give polio dose to their children up to the age of five years. He said that no one should be left behind.
