Today is the day of results in Panchayat elections. After the elections held in Belaganj and Khijrasarai blocks of Gaya for the first phase, the result will be revealed today. The fate of 3317 candidates in the first phase of elections in Gaya district is to be decided today. Apart from Gaya, in the first phase, elections were held on 24 September in Dawath and Sanjhauli in Rohtas district, Kudra in Kaimur district, Govindpur in Nawada and Aurangabad Sadar blocks.

The results of Panchayat elections have started coming from various blocks. The number of candidates has increased. There is tremendous enthusiasm and excitement among the people about the election results. Crowds of supporters gathered outside the counting centres.

Anil Kumar, the current head of Koramthu Panchayat of Belaganj block of Gaya district, was re-elected. He has won by 299 votes. He defeated Kaushal Kumar Sharma, who was lodged in Gaya Central Jail. Similarly Manoj Kumar Sharma was elected as the head of Koriyam Panchayat. He defeated Ashok Sharma by 927 votes. 

Ashok Chaurasia Mukhiya has been elected from Kharhana Panchayat of Kudra block of Kaimur district.

Jaitun Bibi from Sasna Panchayat of Kaimur district and Rinki Mishra from Salthua was elected as the chief.

Madhu Yadav has been elected district council member from Kudra part one. He defeated his nearest rival Gayatri Devi by 8002 votes. Madhu Yadav got 20160 votes and Gayatri Devi got 12158 votes.

In the first round, the Jamshona Panchayat of Sasaram's Dawath was counted. In which the former head of the post of chief won the victory. Mithlesh Kumar Yadav has won the post of chief in Sanjhauli's silver.

The election result of Padrawan Panchayat of Aurangabad block came first. After that the election results of Khaira Bind, Karma Bhagwan, Ibrahimpur, Kurmaha, Fasar, Pokharahan, Parsdih, Manjhar, Naugarh, Bela, Poiwan, Ora, Khaira Mirza and Jamhor will be declared.

- Gulshan Kumar from Padrawan lost to Anil Paswan by 253 votes.  

Sarita Devi won from Panchayat Samiti area number-1.

Badshah Yadav won in Panchayat Samiti. Got about 1390 votes.

Sujit Singh won from Khaira Bind by 221 votes, Santosh Singh came second.

Ward member candidate Ramkumar Choubey has defeated his nearest rival Bablu Singh by 13 votes from Ward No.

Anil Paswan, the head candidate from Padrawan Panchayat of Aurangabad, won. Anil Paswan got 1395 votes. While the current chief Gulshan Kumar got 1142 votes. Anil won by 253 votes.

The second result from Aurangabad has come from Khairabind Panchayat. Here the current chief Sujit Kumar Singh defeated his nearest rival Santosh Kumar by 221 votes.

- Aurangabad Zilla Parishad candidate Nasreen Nisha won by cross number (12) from Aurangabad West seat.

- Sunita Devi was elected to the post of Mukhiya from Baksoti Panchayat of Nawada Govindpur Block.

The results of 14 ward members of Govindpur block of Nawada district have been declared. Balbir Yadav in Ward 1, Radhia Devi in ​​2, Mobina Khatoon in 3, Rafida Khatoon in 4, Lalita Devi in ​​5, Sunita Devi in ​​6, Surji Devi in ​​7, Khushnuma Praveen in 8, Binda Yadav in 9, Jitendra Kumar in 10 Arvind Kumar in 11, Kaushalya Devi in ​​12, Shashibhushan Prasad in 13 and Anuj Kumar in 14 have been declared victorious.

Hustle at the counting centers

The counting centers in Nawada, Sasaram, Aurangabad and Kaimur, including Gaya, witnessed huge crowds of counting agents since morning. At the same time, police personnel have been deployed in every corner in view of security. The magistrates have also been given the command of security. All the counting agents have been given entry inside the hall by queuing from the entrance of the college itself. Counting of votes will start from 8 am as per rules. Counting of votes will be done through EVMs and ballot boxes. The election of Panch and Sarpanch is done through ballot paper. It will take some time for the results to come. All kinds of arrangements have been made for the counting of votes. CCTV cameras have been installed at all places inside and outside the counting hall. The mic system has been kept in place to address the people.

Belaganj and Khijrasarai's counting of votes in Manaviki Bhawan

The strong room for Belaganj and counting of votes has been built on the ground floor of Manaviki Bhawan, Gaya College. The counting of votes for Khijrasarai has been done on the first floor in the Manaviki Bhawan of Gaya College.

The fate of 923 candidates of Govindpur block in Nawada will be decided

The fate of a total of 923 candidates for various posts in Govindpur block with nine panchayats has now been opened. Counting is going on in KLS College. Let us inform that 77 candidates are trying their luck for the post of headman, 517 of ward member, 72 of panchayat samiti, 50 of sarpanch, 197 of panch and 10 of zilla parishad. Except for Sarpanch and Panch, voting was conducted through EVMs for all the remaining posts. In such a situation, there is a possibility that the counting of votes cast in the EVMs will be completed on the very first day i.e. on Sunday during the counting of two days and the result will be revealed. The election results of Govindpur, Vishanpur, Madhopur, Sughdi, Bhawanpur, Baksoti, Budhdra, Baniyabigha and Sarkanda panchayats of Govindpur block are to be declared.

97 Panch members elected unopposed in Aurangabad

The fate of a total of 1525 candidates is to be decided from Aurangabad Sadar Block. A huge crowd of candidates and supporters gathered outside the counting center. 97 Panch members of Sadar block have been elected unopposed. In which 46 male and 51 female members are included. At the same time, two ward members have also been elected unopposed.

Counting of votes for Padrawan Panchayat of Aurangabad Sadar block had started. But after five minutes it again stopped due to unavoidable reasons.

Candidates beat fast in Sasaram

The fate of the panchayat candidates of Dawath and Sanjhauli blocks of Sasaram district has been opened. Whose luck will shine and who will be disappointed, it will be known only after the counting of votes is over. However, the beating of the candidates regarding the election results has intensified.

In Dawath block, 11 candidates are in the fray for Zilla Parishad post, 78 for BDC, 63 for Mukhiya post, 45 for Sarpanch post, 487 for Ward member post and 150 for Panch post. Whereas in Sanjhauli block, the fate of 13 candidates is to be decided for the post of Zilla Parishad, 47 for the post of BDC, 44 for the post of headman, 29 for the post of sarpanch, 371 for the post of ward member and 109 for the post of Panch.

Counting of votes started in the Agricultural Market Committee of Kudra block of Bhabua

In Kudra block, the counting of votes for the first phase of Panchayat elections has started in the local Agricultural Market Committee premises. A separate hall has been arranged for the counting of votes for each of the posts. People reached the counting center after passing through the three-tier security circle. Tight security arrangements have been made in the premises. 

It is to be known that the fate of district council member, head, BDC and ward member is locked in EVMs. The fate of the candidates for the post of Sarpanch and Panch is in the ballot boxes. A separate tent has been set up in the Agricultural Market Committee premises for the candidates and their supporters to sit. The same permanent medical room has also been built. For the counting of votes, the operation of vehicles on Mohania Ramgarh Path will be closed for the whole day. Vehicles coming from Ramgarh side will reach NH 30 via Durgavati main canal. On the other hand, the vehicles going from Mohaniya to Ramgarh will reach NH 30 via Tekari Path next to the Durga temple of Dadwan.
