London. Drinking 3-5 cups of coffee every day reduces the risk of dying from heart disease (CVD) by 21 per cent. This has been said in a new study. A report published by the Institute for Scientific Information on Coffee (ISIC) describes how lifestyle changes can reduce the risk of dying from heart disease. According to the study, the risk of drinking coffee three times a day can be reduced by up to 21 percent. Drinking three to five cups of coffee reduces the risk of type-2 diabetes by about 25 percent. Those who have diabetes, their chances of dying from heart disease are increased.
According to the report, lifestyle changes can reduce the incidence of heart disease in women by as much as 50 per cent, as around 73 per cent of coronary heart disease (CHD) and 46 per cent of clinical CVD cause poor life style.
