Washington: The  US has said that it is ready to sign a "comprehensive" memorandum of understanding to increase cooperation in the health sector with India. The US said that the cooperation between the two countries on the covid-19 pandemic is based on the decades-long successful partnership between the two countries in the field of health and biomedical research. On Monday, the number of deaths due to covid-19 infection in the US crossed five lakh.

According to John Hopkins University, there are a total of 28,184,218 cases of infection in the country and the number of deaths is 500,172. "We look forward to signing a memorandum of understanding between the two countries (India and the US) in the field of health," Foreign Ministry spokesman Ned Price said in his daily press conference on Monday. We are working together in the field of diagnosis, medicine, vaccines to deal with the disease (covid-19). ''

He said, "When it comes to the partnership between India and the United States on a wider issue, I would like to say that this cooperation between the two countries is based on the decades-long successful partnership in the field of health and biomedical research."  

Beijing:  Tensions between China and Taiwan continue to grow. These days, both countries are face to face with 'Pineapple'. China is not refraining from taking any action against Taipei after Taiwan's friendship with the US grew. In the Ishi order, China has now banned pineapple imported from Taiwan, which is followed by anger among Taiwanese people.

Taiwan's people have been opposing this decision after China's withdrawal. On social media, pineapples have been urged to support local pineapple producers. 

At the same time, China argued the reason behind the ban, saying that insects have been found in pineapples coming from there. The China General Administration of Customs has announced that this suspension will be effective from March 1. The action has been taken after Chinese officials claimed that several batches of fresh pineapple shipped from Taiwan in 2020 were found in the mealybugs.
