10,584 new cases of covid-19 in the country, 78 people died

New Delhi. The total number of infected cases in the country has increased to 1,10,16,434 after 10,584 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in India in the last 24 hours . Out of these, over 1.07 crore people have become infection free. According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, the death toll rose to 1,56,463 after the death of 78 more patients. According to the data, with a total of 1,07,12,665 people becoming infection free, the recovery rate of patients in the country rose to 97.24 percent.
At the same time, the death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.42 percent. According to the ministry, 1,47,306 people are currently undergoing treatment for corona virus infection, which is 1.34 percent of the total cases. On August 7 last year, the number of infected people in the country was 20 lakh, on 23 August 30 lakh and on 5 September more than 40 lakh. At the same time, total cases of infection had crossed 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October and 90 lakh on 20 November and one crore on 19 December. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 21,22,30,431 samples have been tested for Kovid-19 in the country till 22 February. Of these, 6,78,685 samples were examined on Monday.
