At the same time, 275 more people have lost their lives due to this disease, which is the highest number of deaths due to this epidemic in about 83 days. With this, the total number of people who lost their lives due to Corona virus infection has increased to 1,60,441.

These include more than 79 lakh healthworkers, who have taken the first dose and more than 50 lakh have taken the second dose. A total of 2 crore beneficiaries over the age of 60 years and about 50 lakh beneficiaries above the age of 45 have taken a dose. A total of 23.46 vaccine doses were given on the previous day.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, 23,64,38,861 samples have been tested till 23 March. On Tuesday, 10,25,628 samples were examined.
