Administration handed over the responsibility of two Anganwadis to ITM
In order to connect the Anganwadi centers run by the Women and Child Development Department with the public and seek the cooperation of the institutions in their upgradation, a campaign has been started by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in the form of 'Adopt An Anganwadi'. Under this campaign, two Anganwadis have been adopted by ITM University. The district administration has entrusted the work of beautification and maintenance by adopting Farashkhana and Naka Chandravadni. In the same vein, ADM Ishchit Gadphale, Rahul Pathak from Women and Child Development Department, Municipal Corporation officials, ITM registrar Dr Omveer Singh came to inspect the Anganwadis.
Furniture, wall painting, children's swings
The ADM gave necessary directions to the concerned officers regarding the deficiencies which were found on initial inspection. Along with this, whatever beautification or facility was to be provided, in this regard, ITM University had a detailed discussion with the officials. Under which discussion on making and maintaining furniture, wall painting, swings for children, toilets and others. Tree plantation was also asked to protect the environment. Apart from this, the responsibility of setting up health check-up camps for the health related tests of children and their mothers was also entrusted to ITM. The facilities related to the repair of the building, knowledge, education, sports etc. were asked to be done at the earliest. ITM also took the initiative to start the work by preparing the list of essential work on priority.
It is noteworthy that along with Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Lok Sabha MP Vivek Shejwalkar, District Collector, Municipal Commissioner and other district officials, took a meeting of major institutions and organizations of the city. In which he had to take the responsibility of renovating and beautifying the city square, parks, Anganwadi centers etc. In this sequence, the ADM, District Collector, Women and Child Development Department and corporation officers are handing over the responsibility to the institutions.
