Bike attackers opened fire on JKU leader Jastej Singh Sandhu, narrowly escaped life

Kurukshetra. Jastej Singh Sandhu, general secretary of the Haryana unit of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, narrowly escaped on Monday when two motorcycle-borne assailants opened fire on him. At that time, he was going to meet protesting farmers here. Police gave this information. Deputy Superintendent of Police Gurmel Singh said the 45-year-old farmer leader of the former Haryana Minister of Agriculture, late Jaswinder Sandhu, was going towards a toll plaza near Pehowa when the incident occurred.
The DSP said the attackers were chased by two motorcycle-borne assailants, who were driving by themselves, and one of them shot at them from close range, but the bullet did not hit them. He said the car has been seized and the forensic team has inspected the vehicle. The police is investigating the matter.
