New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that his government will implement the order of the Lieutenant Governor canceling the Delhi government's decision to reserve government and private hospitals in Delhi for the people of Delhi. Addressing an online press conference, he said that the data showed that cases of Covid-19 in Delhi will increase significantly in the coming days. Kejriwal said that if people from Delhi come to the city for treatment, by July 31, 1.5 lakh beds will be needed in Delhi. He said that out of these 1.5 lakh beds, 80,000 beds would be needed for the people of Delhi.
The Chief Minister said, "There is a big challenge ahead of us. We have to fight together against Kovid-19. ”He appealed to the people to fight against Covid-19 like a big movement. The Chief Minister said that the AAP government will try to make arrangements to provide treatment to all. Kejriwal said, "This is not the time to do politics." We have to fight together against Kovid-19, ”he said. He said that so far 31,000 cases have been reported in Delhi and 18,000 of them are undergoing treatment.
