 Acting Mayor of Greater Municipal Corporation Sheel Dhabhai reached Malviya Nagar and Sanganer Zone on Wednesday to test the cleanliness system during the festive season. In the morning there were heaps of garbage everywhere. The scavengers were also not found on the spot.
A pile of dirt was found after Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bajaj Nagar. In Ward-138, 33 sweepers are on duty, but only 10 employees were present in the register. Only two or three employees were found working on the spot. Whereas, despite the absence of 23 employees, absence was not recorded in the register. The mayor directed immediate suspension of Jamadar Mahavir and Keshav and issuing notice to Sanitation Inspector Yogendra Jajotar. During the inspection, Abhay Purohit, chairman of the cleanliness committee-B and Ramswaroop Meena, chairman of C, besides Vinod Chaudhary, chairman of the public vehicle committee, were present.

At the
same time, in ward 131 of Malviya Nagar zone, the negligence of the scavengers came to the fore. Garbage was lying outside the garbage depot. In Ward-132, the sewer water was flowing on the road near the Peacock Garden culvert. Local people said that they have complained many times, but no response has been received. On this, the Mahpour directed the Junior Engineer to issue notice.


Inspected the cleanliness system in ward no. 86 and 87 of Sanganer zone after collecting carrying charge of Rs. 10400 . In Ward-86, out of 20 sweepers, only 14 were found. Heaps of dirt were found everywhere in the ward and cleanliness was not visible anywhere. Instructed to issue notices to Sanitation Inspector Nandkishore and Jamadar Hameed and Babulalal. The mayor gave instructions to remove the temporary encroachment done by the traders on the main road of Sanga circle and Sanganer Panchayat Samiti. On the spot 17 challans and carrying charge of Rs 10400 were recovered.
