Hemant Soren's announcement- Lockdown extended till 31 May in Jharkhand amid Corona's growing infection
Ranchi: Amid the growing transition of Corona in Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has announced to extend the lockdown till May 31. At the same time, lockdown was imposed in 6 phases in Jharkhand from April 22 to 29 and then from April 29 to May 6.
An important meeting of Disaster Management was convened under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister regarding Health Safety Week in the state. In this meeting Hemant Soren decided to extend the lockdown period to 31 May. At the same time, after the complete lockdown in Jharkhand, the time of opening the shop of essential goods can be reduced from 2 o'clock to 11 o'clock. Also, the Jharkhand government may take a decision to give ration to the ration card holders and poor for free. The Hemant government, which is preparing to impose a complete ban on excluding essential services, may make new rules for marriage.
Let me tell you that in Jharkhand, the havoc of Corona is continuously increasing. In the state, 129 more people died due to corona infection in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll in the state to 3073. In addition, there were 6899 new cases of infection in the state, taking the total number of corona infections in the state to 251371.
