Jammu and Kashmir administration is monitoring the status of Kovid along with tourism districts: Chief Secretary
Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam said that the administration is keeping a constant watch on the situation of Kovid, with special attention to the districts with high tourist arrivals. He also said that the administration will conduct a rapid vaccination campaign for all persons of the eligible age groups in four districts with high incidence of Kovid-19 - Jammu, Srinagar, Budgam and Baramulla.
Subrahmanyam was speaking at a meeting held under the chairmanship of Union Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba in the backdrop of the recent rise in Kovid-19 cases across the country. He said that Jammu and Kashmir administration is constantly monitoring the spread of Kovid among the local population with special attention to the districts having more tourist arrivals.
