Kerala High Court's comment on the custody of children, a female member in the family is necessary for childcare

A division bench of the Kerala High Court has observed that in the Indian context, there is always a need for a female member of the family to look after the children. The court said that we have not yet reached the level of Scandinavian countries (Norway, Sweden, and Denmark) where you do homosexual marriage and everyone is skilled in raising children.

Next week the matter will be heard again
A bench of Justice Alexander Thomas and Justice Sophie Thomas made the above observation while hearing a habeas corpus petition of a person from Gujarat. The man had demanded handing over of his four-year-old daughter to him and alleged that his relatives had illegally kept his daughter with them. The bench told the petitioner that you live alone in Gujarat. There is no woman in your family. In such a situation, no court will accept your point that you can keep the child safe. If you go to work, the child will be alone and she may be in danger. The matter will now come up for a hearing next week.

The young leader got bail
In another case, Kerala High Court has granted bail to Youth Congress worker Jitin V Kulathur. Let us tell you that Jitin had attacked the AKG Center, the state headquarters of the ruling CPI(M) in Thiruvananthapuram. Jitin was arrested by the Crime Branch on September 22. He was granted bail on Friday after Jitin had approached the High Court after the Thiruvananthapuram Judicial Magistrate Court refused him bail.
