National Desk: The new cases of corona in the country have now come down significantly. For the last four-five days, new cases of corona are coming less than one lakh. However, the death toll from this epidemic has not come down yet. Around 80 thousand new cases have come in the country in 24 hours. According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, 80,834 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in 24 hours. Amidst the continuous decrease in new cases of corona infection in the country, 80,834 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours, although there has been a partial increase in the death toll due to this disease and it has increased to 1.26 percent. Meanwhile, 34 lakh 84 thousand 239 people were vaccinated against Corona on Saturday.

Due to the continuous increase in the number of people who beat this epidemic, the recovery rate has increased to 95.26 percent, while the rate of active cases has come down to 3.49 percent. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday morning, with the arrival of 80,834 new cases in the last 24 hours, the number of infected people increased to two crore 94 lakh 39 thousand 989. During this, one lakh 32 thousand 62 patients have become healthy, in which two crore 80 lakh 43 thousand 446 people have so far defeated this epidemic in the country.

Active cases have come down from 54 thousand 531 to 10 lakh 26 thousand 159. During the last 24 hours, 3303 patients lost their lives and the total number of people who died due to this disease has increased to three lakh 70 thousand 384. The active cases in Maharashtra have come down by 6179 to 1,58,450 in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, after the recovery of 14910 more patients in the state, the number of corona free people has increased to 5631767, while the death toll has increased to 108333 due to the death of 1966 more patients. In the national capital Delhi, the active cases of corona have decreased by 312 and now their number has come down to 3610. With the death of 28 more patients here, the death toll from this disease has increased to 24,800. At the same time, 1402474 patients have defeated Corona.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday visited the severe flood-hit Chiplun in Ratnagiri district of Konkan region. The Chief Minister interacted with the residents, traders and shopkeepers and promised all possible help from the state government to restore normalcy in the area.
