Amid the Corona crisis, a large number of devotees have gathered in Haridwar to take a dip in Ganga ji on the Aries solstice today. After the bath by the common devotees, there will be a royal bath of the saints of all the akhadas. The process of bathing in Ganga ji has continued since morning.

At the same time, people were seen wandering fearlessly in the Kumbh amid Corona crisis. People are also not following the mask and social distancing. During this time, the administration also looked helpless. 

CM Tirath Singh Rawat's appeal
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat appealed to all devotees to follow the Kovid guidelines on the third royal bath of Mahakumbh to be held on the festival of Aries Sankranti and Baisakhi at Haridwar Kumbh. Chief Minister Rawat congratulated all the devotees on the occasion and said that the first and second royal bath of Mahakumbh has been conducted safely and successfully. He hoped that with the blessings of Lord Badri Vishal, Baba Kedar and Ganga Maiya, the next Shahi Snan would also be successfully completed.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has made a round-the-clock arrangement to ensure that the saints and devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience during the third royal bath at the Kumbh Mela. He said that the bathing time of every arena has already been set up in order to make arrangements in Kumbh smoothly. Apart from this, separate bathing has also been arranged for other devotees. All security personnel, scavengers, medical staff etc. are doing their work with full efficiency. The Chief Minister requested all the pilgrims coming for the third royal bath to follow the guidelines set by the Government of India regarding the Kovid. He said that all the devotees should wear masks, maintain social distance and also keep the hands sanitized from time to time.

Comparing Kumbh with Markaz Wrong
CM Rawat said that Kumbha cannot be compared with Markaz because the corona spread by Markaz was because he was in a closed room. Since the Kumbh is in the open, the corona will not spread. The Chief Minister said that the mother is a continuous stream of Ganga, if the Ganges take blessings of Maia, the corona will not spread.
