PM Modi inaugurates 'Vanyaj Bhawan', said- Initiatives like 'Vocal for Local' boosted the country's exports

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the new campus of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Vyapar Bhawan, and the NIRYAT portal. Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal was also present on the occasion. The PM said that the building of Vyapariya Bhawan and the NIRYAT portal reflects our aspirations of a 'Self-reliant India'. It will bring positive change in the field of trade and commerce, especially for MSMEs.


The PM said that the goal of both these projects is to expedite the work of the government. He said that the government's projects should not be delayed for years, they are completed on time, the government's schemes reach their goals, then only the taxpayer of the country is respected. At the same time, he also said that the 'Vocal for Local' campaign has also helped in increasing the exports and now many of our products are being exported for the first time to new countries of the world.
The Prime Minister said, today every ministry, every department of the government is giving priority to increasing exports with a whole-of-government approach. Be it the Ministry of MSME or the Ministry of External Affairs, agriculture or commerce, all are making common efforts for a common goal.


He said – “Vanayaj Bhavan is also a symbol of our achievements in the field of commerce during this period. I remember, at the time of the foundation stone, I had emphasized the need for innovation and improvement in Global Innovation Index. Today we are ranked 46th on Global Innovation Index. and are continuously improving."


Apart from this, the Prime Minister said, "The government's projects should not be delayed for years but should be completed on time, the government's schemes reach their goals, only then there is respect for the taxpayers of the country. Now we have a modern one in the form of the Prime Minister's Gatishakti National Master Plan." There is also a platform."
