New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Indian Toy Fair 2021 on Saturday through video conference. The fair is being organized in the virtual medium in view of the corona epidemic and will include more than 1000 toy makers from 30 states and union territories of the country. Toys play an important role in the all-round development of the child and also enhance their skills.
In August, the Prime Minister said in the Mann Ki Baat program that toys not only increase activity in children, but also fulfill their aspirations. Citing the importance of toys in the overall development of children, the Prime Minister had earlier also emphasized on increasing the manufacturing of toys in the country. This fair is being organized according to the vision of the Prime Minister.
The purpose of organizing this fair is to bring all stakeholders like buyers, sellers, students, teachers and designers etc. on a virtual platform. Through this forum, both the government and industry will discuss together how to make India a toy manufacturing hub in the world.
