New Delhi: Now the East Delhi Municipal Corporation is preparing to build a road from the waste. This road will be prepared from the waste of the Corporation Ghazipur Landfill Site. According to the information received, the corporation will take help of Central Road Research Institute in this work. The two will start together as a pilot project.
One km long road will be built
It is being told that about one kilometer long road in Kalyanpuri will be constructed with garbage. About 25 thousand metric tons of Legacy waste will be used for this road construction. Let us tell you that this will be the first unique project of a municipal corporation in the country to build a road from solid waste.
Senior representatives visited three sites
According to the information, the senior representatives of East Delhi Municipal Corporation and Central Road Research Institute have visited the three sites. He was accompanied by a technical team from the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India. Explain that the pilot project is being developed under the garbage from the Office of the Chief Scientific Advisor under the Sapanda Mission.
Corporation will give garbage for road construction
At the same time, the Ghazipur dipping site has been identified as a priority. The East Delhi Municipal Corporation will deliver the segregated waste from the landfill site for filling the pits of roads and construction of roads in this pilot road. Which will reduce the amount of waste from the landfill site. At the same time, the Central Road Research Institute will technically cooperate in the construction of the pilot road.
