There will be no event on Teja Dashami in the famous Dehalwal Tejaji Temple Sirohi of the region. On Tuesday, the station in-charge went to Sirohi and saw the arrangements and instructed the committee members not to organize the event without any permission.
Police station in-charge Rajendra Khandelwal said that due to the possibility of crowd coming in the meeting held in the presence of the sub-divisional officer in the past, Dehalwal Tejaji Temple had banned the fair and event on Teja Dashami in Sirohi. He has visited the area on Tuesday regarding the same. Instruction has been given to the temple committee members regarding the not being organized.
Tejaji's flag is flying in the town for thirteen days
Come on. These days Veer Tejaji Mahotsav is being celebrated by the residents of the town. During the festival the Tejaji flag is flown in the village for 15 days by the members of Tejaji Seva Mandal.
Awan Sarpanch Divyansh M. Bhardwaj said that this festival is being celebrated continuously for hundred years. Since the establishment of Tejaji Thada, this festival is being celebrated. During this festival all the members of Tejaji Seva Mandal start the flag from Tejaji's temple on the tenth day of Krishna Paksha of ***** and place it every day in each temple located in the village. During this, the members of the Mandal sing Tejaji's songs on the melodious vocals of Dholak and Algoja. And the women dance and sing along with the flag. Along with this, a devotee walks along with the flag keeping the burning dhupada of Tejaji on his head. The flag is stopped outside every house and the householders offer incense sticks, ghee and prasad.
This festival runs for 15 days every day from 8 pm to 11 pm. During these 15 days, the flag is kept in 15 temples of the village. And on the day of Teja Dashami, the flag is placed back in the Tejaji temple while singing.
