The target of 2025 to eliminate TB in the country, PM Modi said - talking about ending the world by 2030

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the budget allocated to the health sector in this year's budget is unprecedented. It is a symbol of our commitment to provide better health care to every countryman. In the past, the year has been an ordeal for the nation, the world and mankind. I am happy that the health sector of the country has succeeded in this ordeal.
He said that within a few months, the country set up a network of about two and a half thousand labs. Due to which today we have reached 21 crore tests. This has been made possible by working closely with the government and the private sector. Corona has given us a lesson that we not only have to fight the epidemic today but also to strengthen it for any future situation.
PM Modi said that from medical equipment to medicines, from ventilators to vaccines, from scientific research to infrastructure monitoring, from doctors to epidemics, we have to pay attention to all so that the country is better equipped for any future health disaster. Be prepared in a manner.
He said that the world has noted very closely the strength that India's health sector has shown during Corona, its experience and the strength it has demonstrated. Today, India's health sector's reputation and trust in India's health sector is at a new level all over the world.
He said that our government treats health issues in a holistic way rather than in pieces. That is why we started focusing on wellness, not just treatment in the country. We adopted an integrated approach from care to treatment.
PM Modi said that to keep India healthy, we are working together on 4 fronts. The first front is to prevent diseases i.e. Prevention of illness and Promotion of Wellness. The second front is to provide cheap and effective treatment to the poorest of the poor. Schemes like Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra are doing the same. The third front is to increase the quantity and quality of health infrastructure and health care professionals. For the last six years, AIIMS and other such institutes are being expanded in the remote states of the country. The fourth front is to work on mission mode to overcome problems. Mission Indradhanush has been extended to the tribal and far-flung areas of the country.
TB to end in 2025!
PM Modi said that to eradicate TB from the country, we have set a target till 2025. TB also spreads through droplets of an infected person. Wearing masks, early diagnosis and treatment are also important in the prevention of TB. By implementing the Corona model in TB with improvements, we will be able to fulfill the dream of TB-free India by 2025.
