In a tweet informing CA, in which he wrote, Cricket Australia has donated 50 Australian dollars to UNICEF India to fight the Kovid crisis. Simultaneously, CA has also appealed to the players and the people of Australia to donate to UNICEF's Kovid-19 Relief Fund to help India in every possible way as it is facing the second wave of Corona.
"There is a special relationship between Australia and India," CA interim chief executive Nick Hockley said. Our mutual love of cricket is the center of our friendship. "The spirit that Brett Lee and Pat Cummins have shown in helping India last week has touched us to the depths of our heart," he said. We are proud to raise funds for Corona patients in association with UNICEF.
It should be noted that a few days ago, Australian fast bowler Cummins donated Rs 37 lakh to the PM Cares Fund to help in oxygen supply. At the same time, former Australian cricketer Brett Lee also helped Indians in the fight against Corona and donated a bitcoin (about 42 lakh rupees).
