Paris France's highest administrative court upheld the decision to end the country's domestic football season due to the Corona virus but suspended the decision to keep the Amiens and Tolos clubs in the second division. The French League had decided to end the league due to the Kovid-19 epidemic against which Leone club president Jean Michael Aulas and both clubs placed in the Second Division had approached the court. The Amiens and Tolos clubs appealed to reverse the decision to keep him in the second division, while Lyon wanted to hold the remaining ten matches of the season.
Paris St Germain was declared the winner after the league was declared ended on 30 April. Leon had finished seventh and thus failed to make it to the European Championships. Council de Itat said that there is no doubt on the validity of the decision to end the session prematurely. However, it suspended the decision to keep Amiens and Tolos in the second division and ordered the French league to consider the 2020-21 season format before June 30.
