New Delhi: The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) notices about 25 out of 110 players of its National Registered Testing Pool (NRTP) for failing to disclose their residency information during a nationwide lockdown caused by the Kovid-19 epidemic. Sent. No sample could be taken during the lockdown phase but Nada, following the guidelines, sent a notice to all players who could not submit their place of residence three months ago. The association, however, did not disclose the names of the players to whom the notice has been sent.
Nada tweeted on his official handle, "All the players involved in NADA's NRTP are required to provide information about their place of residence every three months in advance. Those who failed to do so were sent notice. Three such notices are anti-doping rule violation (ADRV) for which a player can be banned for four years. "A Nada official said," Notices have been issued to about 20 to 25 players. It is necessary to clarify here that these players have not violated. Just so that it is included in the guidelines that they have to provide information about their place of stay, even if it is a lockdown situation. NADA will soon start sampling as the lockdown has been relaxed following the health safety guidelines.
