Neymar, Thiago Silva included in Brazil squad for Copa America

Sao Paulo: Star striker Neymar will lead Brazil's attack in the Copa America football competition while veteran defender Thiago Silva has been included in the squad despite a recent injury. Coach Tite announced the 24-man squad on Wednesday. The tournament will start on Sunday which will be hosted by Brazil. Brazil was given the responsibility of organizing this continental tournament after Argentina and Colombia withdrew from co-hosting.

Brazil's team consists mostly of players who were recently selected for South American World Cup qualifying. Chelsea defender Thiago Silva is back in the squad. He could not play in these matches due to injury. Neymar had earlier said that he wanted to compete in the Tokyo Olympics but was unlikely to participate in both tournaments after being selected in the squad for the Copa America.
