When Ajinkya Rahane should be dropped from the Indian team, Virender Sehwag fixed the time

Indian Test team vice-captain and middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane disappointed with his performance during the four-match Test series on the tour of England. After his consistent poor performance, things started coming to the fore that why he is being given a chance in the playing XI and he should be dropped from the team. Although despite his poor performance, he was repeatedly given plenty of opportunities by the team management, but he kept breaking the expectations every time.

Now Team India's former opener batsman Virender Sehwag told that when Rahane should be dropped from the Test team. According to Sehwag, Rahane should be given a chance in the next Test series to be played in India, but if he fails even here, then he should be asked to go. Rahane, who scored 109 runs in four Test matches on the England tour, has been one of India's finest batsmen for the last several years in the longest format of cricket. However, he is not able to score runs continuously even after being given opportunities again and again.

Speaking on Sony Sports, Sehwag said that, everyone goes through bad times. The question is how do you treat your player in bad times, whether you support him or leave him. I think Ajinkya Rahane should get a chance when the next series in India takes place. If he doesn't perform there then you can say - Thank you very much for your contribution.

Sehwag said that, I think when your tour abroad is bad, you should get a chance in India because it comes once in every four years, but you will play a series in India every year. If the series is bad in India, then I would understand that the form which was bad overseas also, he deserves to be dropped now.
