In Uttar Pradesh, 19 newly infected patients have been confirmed in the investigation of Kovid during the last 24 hours. On Wednesday, new patients were found only in nine districts. In the same period, 16 patients were healthy and discharged. Now 182 infected people are currently being treated in the state. Now there are 34 districts of the state where there is not a single patient of Kovid left. These districts are now free from Kovid infection.
CM Yogi Adityanath said in a high-level review meeting with the officials of Team-9 on Wednesday that the mantra of aggressive tracing, testing and prompt treatment is yielding good results. So far, 16 lakh 86 thousand 538 residents of the state have become healthy after getting rid of corona infection. It is time to exercise caution and caution. A little carelessness can become a factor in increasing the infection. Due to the efforts made on the second wave of corona, life is rapidly returning to normal life in the state. The situation in Uttar Pradesh is much better as compared to other states of the country. Today there is not a single active case of Kovid in 34 districts of the state.
So far seven crore 55 lakh 39 thousand 756 Kovid samples have been tested in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, two lakh 21 thousand 226 sample testing was done. In this Kovid testing, no new cases of infection were found in 66 districts. On an average, two and a half lakh to 2.5 lakh tests are being done every day, while the positivity rate has come down to less than 0.01 and the recovery rate is 98.7 percent. So far, 16 lakh 86 thousand 538 residents of the state have become healthy after getting rid of corona infection.
The districts of the state that have become free from Kovid include Aligarh, Amroha, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Ballia, Balrampur, Banda, Basti, Bahraich, Bhadohi, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Etah, Farrukhabad, Fatehpur, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Hathras, Kanpur Dehat, Kasganj, Mahoba, Moradabad, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Rampur, Saharanpur, Shamli, Shravasti, Siddharth Nagar, Sultanpur and Sonbhadra are included.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the process of vaccination is going on fast in the state to protect against Kovid. Soon UP will become the first state in the country to give more than nine crore Kovid doses. So far, more than seven crore 45 lakh people have received the first dose of vaccine in the state, while more than 1.52 crore people have got the cover of both the doses. Last day more than 10 lakh 80 thousand people received the vaccine. In this way, the total covid vaccination in the state has become more than eight crore 97 lakh. This is the highest number of vaccinations done in a single state. This process needs to be accelerated further.
