In the absence of spare parts, dozens of roadways buses are parked in the workshop. Due to non-operation of the bus, the drivers and operators working on contract are not getting salary. On Friday, employees demonstrated at Bhainsali Bus Depot. Operators Sandeep, Dinesh, Fariyad etc. gave a memorandum to RM KK Sharma. Employees said that more than 40 buses are standing due to lack of tyres, batteries and other parts. Employees come daily for duty, but they have to return due to non-availability of buses. This has been happening since last one month. Said that there is a need to take care of the family. RM KK Sharma said that the supply of spare parts has to be done from the headquarters. With the completion of the 10-year period, 56 buses will be further reduced in the coming days. Higher officials have been informed.
Workshop filled with water, workers are getting sick
The workshop of Meerut depot has been filled with water for the last several months. Due to waterlogging in large potholes, workers have to pass through dirty water. Due to which there are rashes on the feet. Mosquitoes are also breeding.

Meerut. CDO Shashank Chaudhary said that various departments are running schemes for the welfare of poor people. To give the benefits of these schemes to the eligible, Garib Kalyan Melas will be organized on every block on Saturday.
