Attempt to kidnap a teenager in Etah, the accused poured acid on the elder sister when she try to protest
In Mohalla Shantinagar of Etah Kotwali Nagar area, two bike riders tried to kidnap a teenager. When her elder sister protested, the youths threw acid on her. It burnt his face and body. The mother of the victim's sisters has filed a report against the accused. Police have arrested one accused.
According to the victim's mother, her 16 and 14-year-old daughters do the work of cleaning the houses. On the evening of June 23, around 7.30 pm, both were coming back home from work. Meanwhile, Ranjeet, a resident of the same locality, arrived on a bike in Mohalla Shantinagar of the city along with another youth. He took hold of the younger daughter's hand and started carrying it.
Acid is thrown on the elder sister's face
When the elder daughter protested, the accused put acid on her face. She fainted and fell there. Thereafter the accused fled. The younger daughter came home and gave information. The woman says that the second accused is a resident of Nagla's grandson. The police caught Ranjit and showed his photo to the victim. The victim girl has recognized the accused.
Regarding the incident, the Additional Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Singh Kushwaha said that on Friday, information was received that a chemical substance was thrown at a teenager. Half of his face has been burnt by this. On the basis of Tahrir, a report has been registered on one named and unknown. The arrested youth is being interrogated.
Manchale was troubled for three months
The girl, who was attacked with acid, and her younger sister were harassed by the accused of three months. He used to threaten to kill his father and other family members if any complaint was made. Due to the weak economic condition and the very simple atmosphere of the house, the girls could not reach the police station to complain against these miscreants.
The acid attack victim told that the accused were after her for three months. He used to bother me every day. Used to ask the younger sister to talk on the mobile. If the mobile is with me, then I used to ask to talk to it only. When I said that I would complain, the accused threatened to kill the father and other family members. This scared her and did not inform anyone about the matter even at home. Due to this the courage of the accused increased further.
ASP's inspection of the incident site
On Friday late night, SP Dhananjay Singh Kushwaha along with the police force inspected the spot. During this, he went home and talked to the victim. At the same time, the police also spoke to the family members of the victim. On Saturday, from the medical college, the victim was advised to take her to Agra or Aligarh Medical College for higher treatment, but the relatives took her to a private nursing home in the city.
