CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurates PepsiCo India's plant, said - a milestone will be made for farmers

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday gave a big gift to the people of the state. He virtually inaugurated the food manufacturing plant set up by PepsiCo India at Kosikalan, Mathura at a cost of Rs.814 crore. This is PepsiCo's biggest investment in the country. More than one and a half thousand people are expected to get employment from this plant directly and indirectly. Along with this, more than five thousand farmers will also get its benefit. PepsiCo has expressed the possibility of buying one lakh 50 thousand tonnes of potatoes annually. On this occasion, CM Yogi said that such a big plant in Kosikalan is going to prove to be a new milestone for the potato growing farmers of the region.

CM Yogi Adityanath said at the inauguration of the food manufacturing plant that the thinking of the government is also reflected in its functioning. This is the same Kosikalan where the 2012 riots took place. There was a huge loss of public money at that time. When the thinking is negative, there is riots, chaos and disorder. When the thinking of the government is positive, then investment increases. This investment creates employment opportunities. This helps in achieving the goal of self-reliance and self-reliance. Today, Kosikalan is recovering from its image and entering a new era.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that yesterday a proposal of investment of Rs 1250 crore in Aligarh has been put on the ground, while today a food manufacturing plant worth more than Rs 800 crore was inaugurated in Kosikalan, Mathura, the holy land of Lord Krishna. He said that when the government and investors together move forward with a positive mindset, the results will come in this form. It is a great thing that due to the government policies, investors are not only presenting a partnership in the comprehensive progress in the lives of farmers, but are also creating employment opportunities for the youth.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that along with employment from this food manufacturing plant, it will become the basis for change in the lives of lakhs of farmers who used to wander there for their produce. PepsiCo India will work with full commitment to provide fair price for the produce of the farmers. Whatever product from here reaches wherever it reaches, it will also contribute in taking its memory of Braj Bhoomi to that place. That is, the offerings of Braj Bhoomi will also become a great medium to reach the country and the world. Such a big plant in Kosikalan is going to be a new milestone for potato growing farmers.
