Farrukhabad: A 25-year-old youth went missing in Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad district. Despite extensive investigation, the youth could not be traced anywhere. During this, the family members lodged a missing report in the local police station. After the last 13 days, a dead body was found lying on the banks of the Ganges. This police informed the family about the matter. The family members identified the young man as his 25-year-old son Pritam Singh alias Vijay Verma. Police has sent the body for post-mortem after taking legal action.

Let us inform that Vinder Singh Verma, a resident of Gursahaiganj of neighboring district Kannauj, gave a complaint to the police station on June 30. In which it is said that his 25-year-old son Pritam Singh alias Vijay Verma went missing on May 29 with a bike from home. The police registered Pritam's missing in the police station. The police was still investigating that the skeleton of a young man was found lying on the banks of the Ganges under the Kamalganj police station area. On which the police informed the family members for identification. On receiving the information, Vinder Singh, his son Tejram and son-in-law Sukhveer reached the spot. They identified him by clothes etc. as Pritam alias Vijay. Due to which the ground slipped under the feet of the police.

Inspector Jitendra Patel immediately filled the Panchnama of the dead body and sent it for post-mortem. Sukhveer, brother-in-law of the deceased told that Pritam's aunt lived in Kallu Nagla. But he often went to meet his girlfriend Pooja, a resident of Janjali Nagla, a neighboring village. In the past, he took Pooja away and after lakhs of efforts of the family members, returned after being lured by marriage and left Pooja at her house.

Tejram, brother of the deceased Pritam, gave a complaint to the police station. In which it is alleged that Pritam was murdered by his friend Udayveer son Rajaram, Ramu son Hariram, Lalit son Bablu, Anuj son Vishram resident Janjali Nagla. Tejram told the police that Udayveer's sister Pooja was taken away by Pritam. It was in this anger that he was murdered. At present, the police have registered a case of murder against four accused in this case.

He said that six other people were injured in the accident. The injured are being treated in Agra.
