These accused were caught: Cyber ​​cell and Kotwali city police team arrested Lucky Verma son Satya Prakash Verma of Sudhiyamau, Ramnagar, Chunnu Kumar son of Majholia police station in Bihar. Dinesh Prasad, Baluiya Ravindra Kumar son of Sidhauli in Sitapur, Munna Lal, Amit Kumar son of Rampurwa village of Ghunghter caught Ram Bilas. Village Gangupur of Sitapur, Radhe, son of Sandeep Kumar of police station Sandana, Halal address Laulai Kashiram Colony Lucknow, Husna alias Khushnuma daughter Rajab Ali, resident of Mian Bazar of Banki were arrested.

Simcards used to be made fraudulently by camping: SP Anurag Vats told that it is an organized gang. Its kingpin Shahid Anwar is a resident of Bettiah Bihar in Bihar. Some gang members sell SIMs by setting up camps. At the same time, some less educated people get confused and activate more than one SIM card. In the name of getting benefits of government schemes, these numbers form groups of 10-10 people and open accounts in their various banks. Withdraw money from lottery, prize, accident insurance, loan etc. The account holder is not even aware of it. The money is sent to the gang leader Shahid Anwar. The members get 25 thousand rupees of each bank account as commission.

Items recovered:  Rs 22 lakh in cash, nine ATM cards, 28 passbooks, 17 mobile phones, 68 SIM cards, Swift Desire car.
