'If you don't show your face, I will die after being cut off from the train', student commits suicide after being hurt by threats from an unknown friend
In Bareilly, a friendship with an unknown youth started by chatting on mobile took the life of a student of Izzatnagar. The girl was so hurt by the threats of an unknown friend that she consumed poison. In fact, during the video chatting, the young man was pressurizing the girl to show her face. He was threatening to die by being cut off from the train if he did not show his face.
After this threat from an unknown friend, the student called him about 40 times, but he did not answer the phone. Fearing something untoward, the girl was terrified and consumed poison. When the family came to know about his condition worsening, they took him to the hospital. Where he died during treatment.
A 17-year-old girl student living in a colony of Izzatnagar used to chat with a young man on WhatsApp. After the death of the teenager, when the family members saw her mobile, they came to know about the chatting on WhatsApp. Although the two used to talk on the phone as well, the girl never showed her face to the boy.
The boy was constantly pressurizing the girl to show her face. He had also threatened to die by being cut off from the train if he did not listen, but the girl did not listen to him. On the complaint of family members, Izzatnagar police have registered a report against accused Sanchit Arora, who lives in Aloknagar, for abetting the girl's suicide. Relatives say that Sanchit had also threatened in chatting that 'if anything happens to you, I will kill your family members.'
