 The body of a child missing for five days was found landing in the pond on Friday. Injury marks were also found on his head. The family members have given a complaint alleging the possibility of murder. Police is engaged in investigation. Rudra, the five-year-old son of Harishchandra, a resident of Makhdumpur village in the entire Shiv Prasad Majre Makhdumpur village of Nasirabad, had gone out to play from home on Monday evening. When he did not return home even after a long time, the family members started searching. Even after running all night long, the child could not be found.

The information was given to the police on Tuesday. The police sat silent after registering a missing person. However, the family members continued to search for the child. His body was found unloading in the pond outside the village on Friday morning. When the villagers saw the dead body, they informed Rudra's family members. His father reached and identified the body, after which the police were called. Injuries were found on the child's head. On this basis, apprehension of murder, a complaint was lodged against the unknown in the police station. SHO Dayanand Tiwari said that the boy's head has been found with injury marks. The body has been sent for the post mortem. Necessary action will be taken as soon as the report is received. At present the matter is being investigated.

Police did not show activism: The  victim's family says that the matter was reported on Tuesday. Despite this, the police did not show any activity. He neither investigated nor took any action to trace the child. Had the police of the police station been active, perhaps a major incident would have been avoided. The victims' relatives are demanding that the incident be exposed at the earliest.
