In the program, exporters and agricultural producer organizations discussed the purchase and sale of agricultural products. The Union Minister of State said that the Commerce Ministry has set a target of exporting 400 USD to the country. In this sequence, the target of exporting two trillion in the year 2025-26 is proposed. A target of US $ 43 has been set for agricultural exports only. With the cooperation of APEDA and farmers, the goal seems to be possible.
With the efforts of APEDA, the green chillies of Purvanchal went abroad for the first time. People abroad also tasted the taste of lame mangoes of Purvanchal. The farmers of different districts invited by the Farmer Producer Organization benefited from the program organized by Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, Varanasi (APEDA). Farmers and exporters from other states of the country did virtual participation. District Horticulture Officer Mewa Ram and Keshav Nath Tiwari of Vidhyachal Kisan Producer Company Limited gave information about black rice.
