Muslim girl converted to religion and married Hindu youth, now pleads for protection from DM

In the Etah district, a Muslim girl converted to religion and married a Hindu boy. His family filed a kidnapping report against the youth. At the same time, the newlyweds have appealed to the District Magistrate for protection. Police are calling it a case of kidnapping. The girl is said to be a minor.

The girl, a resident of a village in the Jaithra police station area, met the District Magistrate on Thursday. He pleaded for his protection. The girl also showed her marriage documents presented in the High Court. He told that he is 20 years old. On 14 May 2022, she married a Hindu youth resident of a village in Patiali area according to Hindu customs at the Arya Samaj temple in Prayagraj.

After this, after presenting the marriage documents in the High Court, pleaded for protection. On the directions of the court, the couple appeared before the DM on Wednesday and gave information about the whole matter. She told that she and her husband are in danger from the family. On this, the police officers were written. After the orders of the officers, these people reached the Jaithra police station on Thursday and presented their marriage documents.

However, the police station is not satisfied with this. The police station in-charge Dr. Sudhir Raghav told that the couple had come to the police station. The girl's family had filed a kidnapping report on April 29, stating her age as 14 years. She also appears to be a minor. He has been sent to One Stop Centre. His medical examination was conducted at the Medical College on Thursday.

ADM Administration Alok Kumar told that the young man and the girl had come and met. Talking about getting married after converting, he had demanded to provide security. For which he was sent to the police officer.
