How to link PAN with Aadhaar
First of all, go to the Income Tax e-filing website www.incometax.gov.in.
On the left side of the homepage, you will find the option of Quick Links.
— A new window will open on your screen.
Here you select the option 'Link Aadhaar'.
After this, you have to enter your PAN, Aadhar number, and name.
— Select the option I validate my Aadhaar details
Now an OTP will be received on your registered mobile.
After entering the OTP, your Aadhaar and PAN will be linked (Aadhaar-PAN Link).
Otherwise, the PAN card will be canceled
If you do not link your PAN card with Aadhaar, PAN will be deactivated. If PAN is deactivated once, much of your work will get stuck. After this, you will not be able to do work like a mutual fund, stock, and bank account opening with a PAN card.
