In order to provide better convenience to the vehicle riders, the system of FASTag was implemented by the National Highways Authority of India two years ago. The authority was of the view that this would relieve the occupants of the traffic jam as well as bring transparency in the fee being charged on toll. For this, FASTag was given to the vehicle riders by organizing an awareness program, but even after two years, the arrangements at Bara toll have not been corrected. Due to the problem of the sensor, the vehicle riders have to grapple with the jam. At the same time, even the hand scanner does not work properly, on which the toll workers get the FASTag scanned by taking it at a distance of one fit from the sensor. On Friday, at some booths in the lane going from Kanpur to Auraiya, vehicle riders had to deal with the problem of sensor. On this, the personnel present at the toll removed the vehicles through the handscanner. At the same time, the street light near Bara toll plaza is bad, This causes problems for the occupants of the vehicle. On the other hand, two wheeler riders have to face the problem. Bara Toll DGM Manoj Sharma said that due to the server, there is a scanning problem, which is being tried to solve it.
