UP budget: 5 lakh 50 thousand crore budget presented in UP, 50 crore for corona vaccine

Lucknow: The UP government presented a budget of Rs 5,50,270.78 crore. The budget for FY 2021-22 was presented by the state's Finance Minister Suresh Khanna in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In such a situation, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna announced that Rs 50 crore is proposed for vaccination, while Rs 13 crore is proposed for Ayushman Bharat.
Presenting the fifth and final budget of the current tenure of the Yogi government on the floor of the House, Khanna said that the budget was Rs 5.12 lakh crore in 2020-21, which is about Rs 38 thousand crore more. There was a budget of 3.84 lakh crore in the financial year 2017-18. There was a budget of 4.28 lakh crore in 2018-19. There was a budget of 4.79 lakh crore in 2019-20. He said that the first budget of his government was supported to the farmers in the year 2017-18, while the industrial development was given a special place in the budget of 2018-19 while the budget for 2019-20 was dedicated to the empowerment of women. Youth 20121-21 was preferred in particular the current budget is based on inclusive development.
The total expenditure in the budget is estimated at Rs 5 lakh 50 thousand 270 crore 78 lakh, out of which Rs 3 lakh 95 thousand 130 crore 35 lakh is the expenditure of revenue accounts while one lakh 55 thousand 140 crore 43 lakh is the expenditure of capital accounts. The fiscal deficit in the budget is estimated at Rs 90 thousand 729 crore 80 lakh, which is 4.17 percent of the estimated gross state domestic product for the year. The indebtedness of the state is estimated at 28.1 percent of the gross state domestic product, while the revenue savings are estimated at Rs 23 thousand 210 crore 09 lakh. Mr. Khanna said that his government has taken care of the convenience of every section in the budget. In the budget, arrangements have been made to double the income of farmers by 2022, construction of expressway projects, development of basic amenities in urban areas, speeding up of industries, employment to youth and implementation of women welfare schemes.
He said that during the Corona period, the government brought 40 lakh migrants to their homes. Not only this, 12 thousand students trapped in Kota brought back. Competitors from Prayagraj were also escorted to their homes. Earlier, the budget meeting 2021-22 was approved in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath after which Chief Minister and Finance Minister Suresh Khanna left for Vidhan Bhavan. Meanwhile, members of Congress reached Vidhan Bhavan by bicycle to protest against the rising prices of petrol and diesel.
