UP: Seven migrants workers among 11 test positive for Coronavirus in Aligarh

AGRA: each day after six migrant workers tested positive in Mainpuri, seven migrants were found infected among 11 new patients within the neighbouring district of Aligarh on Thursday. Till now, 55 patients have recovered and and nine have succumbed to the disease out of total 115 infected patients.
Confirming this, chief development officer, Anunay Jha, said that seven migrants workers were found Covid-19 positive. He said all of them had returned from Gujarat and Maharashtra. the opposite four patients are women aged 89, 60, 45 and 46 and from Manik chowk and Rajesh Colony, Kawarsi.
According to government officials, nearly 20 lakh migrants are returned to the state since March 1. Additional Chief Secretary (home) Avnish Awasthi said that CM Yogi Adityanath has appealed to all or any people coming back from other states to tell health officials on time. The CM has also directed health officials to extend the testing capacity to conduct 10K test daily from the prevailing 7K tests.
