UP TET 2021: 16 arrested in Prayagraj including gang leader and Salwar who copied TET

 STF Prayagraj caught the gang who passed through the salwars by getting money from the candidates in the TET exam 2021 and breaching the information of the exam. The STF was successful in arresting 16 persons, including the gang's kingpin, Salwar, from different police station areas of the district.

STF is investigating

The Special Task Force (STF) has arrested 16 people, including eight Salwars from Bihar, who had come to crack the written examination of UP TET 2021, in Prayagraj. All inquiries are going on. Where and how the paper leaked is also being investigated.

STF was aware of the activation of Salwar gang

For the examination of TET, 183 centers were set up in the district. Here about one and a half lakh candidates had to take the exam in two shifts. On Saturday, even before the commencement of the examination, the STF had come to know about the activation of the Salwar gang. On the basis of this, the investigation was intensified about the people of the gang hiding at different places with the aim of breaching the integrity of Salwar and the examination.

Many suspicious mobile numbers were on surveillance

Mobile numbers of several suspects were also put on surveillance. It is said that before the commencement of the examination on Sunday morning, different teams of STF raided many places in a hurry. Then the interrogation was started by taking into custody eight youths from Chheoki, three from Jhunsi and two from Georgetown police station area. In the investigation, it has been found that all the people had come to take the examination in place of others. In this, eight salwars caught from the Chivki area of ​​Naini are said to be residents of different places in Bihar. The STF has also got admit cards of other electronic devices and some other educational records from the accused, which are being investigated.

In some places, the role of management and personnel is doubtful.

The STF officials are also probing the role of the management and some other employees of the examination centers from and outside the examination centers where the accused have been arrested. Along with this, the team is busy in search of other people associated with the gang.
