UP TET Paper Leak: Paper seller Gaurav arrested from Aligarh, UP STF looking for 19 more people; coaching center became the hub of paper leak

Gaurav, accused of leaking the UP TET exam paper, has been arrested by the team of STF Meerut and Lucknow from Aligarh. Gaurav's name was disclosed by the accused arrested from Shamli. It is alleged that Gaurav had provided the paper in Mathura and from here it was also sent to other places in the state. Apart from this, in many other districts, the STF has raided and detained eight people. The raids were carried out till Monday afternoon in many districts including Prayagraj, Meerut, Jhansi, Noida, Baghpat, Shamli, Varanasi and Kaushambi. Apart from this, the STF questioned three other people in Lucknow.

Many important information was received from mobile phones and other documents recovered from 29 people arrested on Sunday. Further action is being taken on this basis only. According to the STF, Ravi, Dharmendra and Manish, arrested from Shamli, had confessed to buying pamphlets from Gaurav of Mathura. Since then, the STF was after him. Gaurav, a resident of Tappal in Aligarh, was arrested late on Sunday night.

Picked up two people from Baghpat and Shamli

Action is going on in West UP in the UP TET paper leak case. After the arrest of three accused from Shamli, two people have been detained from Baghpat and Shamli on Monday as well. One of the accused is associated with the coaching center. Inquiries are being done and the data of WhatsApp chat including mobile call details is being searched. The location of the accused for 10 days is being seen on the basis of mobile number.

STF Meerut had disclosed the leak of UP TET recruitment exam paper on Sunday. After this the examination was canceled in the entire state. STF arrested three accused Ravi, Dharmendra, Manish from Shamli. On top of all this, Bablu resident Nala Shamli was working, who is currently absconding. It was Bablu who proudly got the paper in Mathura and sold it at other places. After the arrest of Gaurav, the search is on for Bablu. At the same time, on the spot of the arrested accused, vigorous raids are being conducted in Meerut, Baghpat and Shamli.

19 more people on the radar

Gaurav told the STF the names of the people to whom he had sold the paper directly. Out of these, the full details of 19 people have been received by the STF. These people are on the radar of STF. Apart from this, Gaurav has also named a person associated with the education department of Agra. He could not tell about this whether the accused was working in the education department or not. Among the people who have been picked up by the STF from Baghpat and Shamli, one of the accused is associated with a coaching center in Shamli. Apart from getting the call details of this accused, his WhatsApp chat is also being searched. On Monday, the STF engaged four more teams in the investigation of this case. From the early hours of Monday, this team of STF also started raiding.

STF reached in Gomtinagar extension

According to STF sources, nine people have been detained from different districts during the raids that took place from Sunday night to Monday afternoon. All of them are being questioned, it is being claimed that some of them were in contact with the paper leaking gang. Although the officials are not saying anything about this. Three members of the team led by STF Deputy SP Dharmesh Shahi reached a house in Gomtinagar Extension. On the other hand, the three Salwar accused caught in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) were presented by the police in the court on Monday. From where all three were sent to jail. The three solvers, including Sandeep Verma, a resident of Sultanpur, Ramesh Gupta, a resident of Ambedkarnagar and Mahesh Chandra, a resident of Mainpuri, were caught by the STF from the examination center during the first shift examination held on Sunday.

The UPTET exam was conducted in the first shift on Sunday at 51 centers in the district. STF had caught Ramesh Gupta, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar, and Mahesh Chandra, a resident of Mainpuri, along with Sandeep Verma, a resident of Sultanpur, who was taking the examination at an examination center. In the investigation of the police, it was revealed that the accused had come to take the examination in place of another. At present, the arrested accused were taken to the city Kotwali. Where the police registered a case against everyone on the Tahrir of STF sub-inspector Alok Rai.
