CM Yogi said that all the examinees have been instructed to safely reach their homes free of cost and to conduct the examination again in a transparent manner within a month. Also, no re-examination fee will be charged from them. Candidates can go home free of cost in roadways buses by showing their admit card. CM Yogi said in a stern tone that those who have done this mischief, a case is being registered against them under the Gangster Act. The government is going to confiscate their property and arrest them under NSA. He said that no matter how big someone is, bulldozers are sure to run at his house. Let us inform that in Lucknow, Additional Chief Secretary, Basic Education Deepak Kumar and ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar had informed the media about the question paper leak and cancellation of the examination.

The leaked paper was matching with the original question paper

ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that the copy of the question paper recovered from the arrested accused was checked. After which the leaked paper appeared to match with the original question paper. Officials said that for this reason, it has been decided to postpone the examination and conduct the examination again in the next one month. He said that the state government would pay whatever the expenditure would be in this.

For the convenience of the candidates, the state government on the basis of the admit card sent all the candidates to their homes free of cost in government buses. At the same time, the responsibility of investigating the paper leak case has been entrusted to the STF. He said that no guilty will be spared. ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that the UPTET exam-2021 conducted by the government was to be held today in two shifts at 2,736 examination centers in all 75 districts of the state. He told that 19 lakh 99 thousand 418 candidates were going to appear in the examination.

Trap laid to keep an eye on solver gang

Prashant Kumar told that to prevent any disturbance in the examination, a trap was laid to keep an eye on copying mafia and solver gang. On the basis of informers and intelligence inputs, 26 people have been arrested since Saturday night. He said that four people from Lucknow, three from Meerut, two from Varanasi and Gorakhpur, one from Kaushambi and 16 from Prayagraj have been arrested in this case. At the same time, he talked about the arrest of some more people. One person each from Ayodhya and Ambedkar Nagar district has also been arrested. Some of the arrested members are also residents of Bihar.

The three accused had bought 10 copies of the question paper for Rs 5 lakh. He was given 50-60 candidates left. Rs 50,000 was taken from everyone for this. The government says that the search is on for the rest of the gang members. According to Prayagraj STF, 16 members, including the gang's kingpin, have been arrested today from different police station areas. The main gangsters of this gang are Rajendra Patel of Raniganj, Sunny Singh of Pratapgarh, Tinku Kumar, Neeraj Shukla, Sheetal Kumar, Dhananjay Kumar, Kunain. Raja and Shivdayal have been arrested from Naini police station area.

Anurag, Abhishek Singh and Satya Prakash Singh of Jhunsi police station area have also been arrested in the paper leak case. At the same time, the solved paper has been found from Satya Prakash's WhatsApp. Works as Assistant Teacher in Satya Prakash Primary School, Kariya Khurd, Shankargarh. Eight people have been arrested from Naini police station area, three from Jhunsi police station area and five from Georgetown police station area. At the same time, Chaturbhuj Singh, Sanjay Singh, Ajay Kumar, Brahma Shankar Singh and Sunil Kumar Singh have been arrested from George Town police station area.
