Weather Update Kanpur: Monsoon will remain till the first week of October, temperature will drop due to rain

 Monsoon in UP is likely to last till the first week of October and the rains will also bring down the temperature. The current system being built in the surrounding cities including Kanpur in UP is pointing towards rain. The wind will blow faster than normal, while the temperature will fluctuate. In Kanpur, the weather has become pleasant due to cloudy sky for the last two days and strong winds are giving relief with drizzle.

The meteorological department of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology has predicted intermittent rain. Meteorologist SN Sunil Pandey said that the Indian area is very active in terms of weather systems. While some systems have already entered, others are still in the process of entering the Bay of Bengal and following a similar path. There is a possibility of heavy rains in UP till the first week of October, due to which the temperature is also likely to drop. With the change of weather, the speed of winds will also increase and fluctuations in temperature can be seen. He said that at present the weather system is partly over Kutch and partly over sea. Due to this system, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some parts of Gujarat during the next 24 hours, after which it will reduce.

Weather system formed across the country: He said that Monsoon is passing through Jaisalmer, Kota, Patna, Daltonganj, Jamshedpur, Balasore and then south-eastwards through East Central Bay of Bengal. The Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Western parts of Madhya Pradesh, another Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Gujarat. A cyclonic circulation is forming over East-central Bay of Bengal extending up to the middle troposphere level. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form by the afternoon or evening of 24 September. A Low Pressure Line is extending from Rayalaseema to Comorin area, which is passing through Interior Tamil Nadu.
